DAHUA SHOWCASES SMART AND SAFE CITY SOLUTIONSAT IFSEC SOUTHEAST ASIA 2017

Dahua Technology, a leading solution provider in the global video surveillance industry, presented safe city solutions at the 5th edition of IFSEC Southeast Asia 2017. During the exhibition, Dahua showed a comprehensive portfolio of products and solutions including Smart Parking Management, Integrated Security Solutions for Public Bus, Residential, Banking & Finance and the company’s industry leading HDCVI 4.0 technology.

Developed by Dahua, HDCVI is the world’s leading HD-over-coax technology that can simultaneously transmit audio, video, power and control signals through an existing analogue infrastructure. Now updated to HDCVI 4.0, their end-to-end product line includes 4K Ultra HD front-end cameras and a full range of back-end storage products. The best part about Dahua’s patented technology is that the new HCVR is backward compatible with existing HDCVI cameras, which means users’ investment will be protected in the technology upgrade process.

“This year we brought in our new 360-degrees panoramic camera with anti-corrosion casing for use in harsh environments. Also, we’re showcasing 8 megapixel camera from the HDCVI 4.0 series, the first of its kind in the world. And new to the market, is our solar powered cameras which can run from 3 to 7 days continuously even during rainy days. The system solves the problem of not having network or power in any given area, because it can transmit video signals over its wireless transmitter,” said Ms. Cheryl Zhou, Channel Manager for Malaysia at Dahua Technology.

Furthermore, Cheryl explained the highlights of Dahua’s Safe City Solutions such as facial recognition and number plate recognition have already been widely used in big cities such as Beijing and Hangzhou in China with excellent results. Therefore, she believes this technology can be robustly used in Malaysia. “It is good to meet and talk with our long term friends and new customers here because we can receive their feedback on our new products and technology,” added Cheryl.
