Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions, exhibited its latest in surveillance technology at IFSEC Southeast Asia 2017 from 06 - 08 September at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Visitors to the region’s leading security, fire and safety event had the opportunity to witness Hikvision’s newly developed concept of AI Technology for the video surveillance market.

Uniquely named “Deep Learning”, the concept incorporates unsupervised principles in classifying patterns and features within analytics, and goes beyond machine learning through Hikvision’s own analytics algorithm. The result is an enhanced performance of analytics when applied into facial, human, and vehicle recognition systems. On display and incorporating the Deep Learning technology were Hikvision’s Smart Solution 2.0 products such as the Smart PTZ camera, Smart NVR and Face Recognition Camera for door entrance.

According to Ms Vivianna Wong, Overseas BU Asia Pacific General Manager at Hikvision, “Over the course of the exhibition, we received a lot of enquires about our total solutions and intelligent cameras. So, with the setting up of our new office in Malaysia this November, we hope to achieve our annual growth target and find more partners which we can introduce Hikvision’s products, solutions and services with the technical know-how of our local support team.”
