AVIGILON SHOWCASES H5A CAMERA LINE WITH ADVANCED VIDEO PATTERN DETECTION DURING TECHNOLOGY SEMINAR IN KUALA LUMPUR

Avigilon Corporation, a Motorola Solutions company, recently organised a Technology Seminar at Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur showcasing its next-generation physical security solutions which integrate access control and surveillance using the latest AI technologies.

The event gathered Avigilon’s partners and customers from across the industry, engaging in technology presentations, case study and a Q&A session. The highlight of the event was the presentation on Avigilon’s Control Centre (ACC) video management software Version 7.2, featuring Avigilon’s Appearance Search™ and Unusual Motion detection technologies. The ACC now comes in Dark mode, which is designed to reduce eye strain for operations in dark environments.

The seminar also included a preview of Avigilon’s H5A camera line and products from the company’s solution partner, Twice Technologies Sdn. Bhd.

Avigilon’s new H5A cameras feature a video analytics technology which uses “pattern modelling” algorithms. The camera’s Advanced Video Pattern Detection technology focuses on recognising the objects in view, and using information of the movement of the object or its known patterns to accurately classify it.

The Technology Seminar also gave delegates a demonstration of Avigilon’s Access Control Manager™ (ACM), which is a web-based solution that can help organisations keep people, property and assets safe. ACM features a mustering function, that provides visibility into the number of personnel moving in and out of the designated emergency areas. This allows first responders to act quickly in an emergency situation.
