On top of all that, G3 and SenseTime will be working on developing the capability and capacity of AI talents in Malaysia by penetrating Malaysia’s education curriculum. With the AI syllabus designed and developed by SenseTime where they are currently being taught in the middle schools across China, it is essential for AI courses to be offered in Malaysia as this will be one of the skills required by the future workforce.
“Today, AI has changed the way we live and the way we do our businesses. With the advancement and progressive approach, AI is now used to analyze and understand users’ behaviours. We are indeed excited to collaborate and partner with SenseTime. We can leverage on each other’s strengths to develop AI-based technologies which add value to the digital offerings that we currently have. With this partnership, we believe we can make significant improvements to one’s life through the advancement of our high technology products and digital services to address the needs of the market today, particularly in Malaysia,” said Mr. Puan.
He adds, “AI technology can identify people, cars and objects under an array of complex conditions which will then be analyzed. Predominantly in the areas of national safety and security, AI and big data are used to provide accurate imaging and face recognition analysis where it is impossible to be seen with naked eyes. The results are then used to create better solutions with actionable insights from having a safer nation with tighter security enforcement to safeguard the nation’s security.”
